1913 Model T Touring Car

Herman Anderson and Vern Betz, who lived in the west end of Davenport, Iowa,
bought this 1913 Model T Touring car new in Davenport and owned it for 50 years
or so. They sold it to Don Glaspell, the second owner, who bought it for his
daughter's wedding because she loved Model T's. It turned out that Don couldn't
drive it so he had to get Vern Betz to drive it for the wedding. Bob Petersen
bought the car in June 1975 from Don Glaspell.
The car had never strayed more
than 20 miles away from where it was originally purchased until it was purchased
by Bill and Linda Lillie of Gales Ferry, CT in January 2013. In January 2013,
there were only 5600 original miles on the car and it is completely unmolested
and unrestored. It has its original Engine No. 245,837 which was manufactured
in April 1913.
